“Either renounce your faith or be cut off.” This has become a reality for our Chinese brothers and sisters. Any religious imagery has to be replaced with portraits of Chairman Mao and President Xi Jinping.
Propaganda demonstrates the government filing voids where the church falls short. As an example, a poverty-stricken Christian woman sought help from the church with no improvement. Yet, the government was able to pick her up, allowing her hope to move on.
Civilization practice centers are developed to combat the growth of religion in rural areas. The CCP portrays Christianity as an enemy taking away people’s hearts and minds. Propaganda is an effective weapon in use by the Chinese Communist Party. The message is “only the Communist Party can guide people to a prosperous and happy life.”
